Sermon Series: Why Are You Here?
August 16 – September 6
Imagine someone asking you one simple question as you walk into church: "Why are you here? Most of us might answer, "To worship," "To learn," or "To see friends." But throughout the Gospels, Jesus asked even deeper questions. In Matthew 11, He asked, "What did you go out to see?" His questions challenged people to examine their motives, expectations, and faith. Over these four weeks, we will allow Jesus to examine our hearts through His questions. Together, we will discover that church is not about performance, comfort, or simply watching others follow Jesus. It is about becoming people whose lives are transformed by Christ and who reflect Him every day. Join us each Sunday, August 16 through September 6, as we discover what it truly means to be the Church.

- August 2, 10:30am | Sunday Service and Baptism| We celebrate lives changed by Jesus! Join us as we celebrate those taking a public step of faith through baptism and declaring their commitment to follow Christ. Bethany Birkhead challenges us to Come and See, John 1:43-51.
- August 3 | J.O.Y. Circle | Good pies. Great friends. Even better conversations. Join our J.O.Y. Circle for a sweet time of fellowship and encouragement.
- August 5, 6:30 pm | Family Game Night | Bring the whole family and get ready for an evening of fun, laughter, and connection! We are kicking off the new school It is a great opportunity to slow down, spend time together, and enjoy fellowship with our church family.
- August 8, | Outreach House | Outreach House is open the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. It is a place where we can serve our community, meet practical needs, and show God’s love.
- August 9, 10:30 am | Sunday Service and Child Dedication | Child Dedication is a commitment from parents to raise their child in faith, with our church family standing beside them with prayer, love, and support. Pastor Missy will dive into Matthew 14 as we discover that Jesus is Enough.
- August 10, | Community Blood Drive | Our Community Blood Drive is a simple way to give back, save lives, and make a meaningful difference for people in our community.
- August 12, 6:30 pm | Wednesday Evening Activities | Weekly Wednesday evening studies and activities available for kids, students, and adults.
- August 16, 10:30 am | Sunday Service and Back-to-School Prayer | Join us as we pray over students, teachers, administrators, school staff, and families as they begin a new school year. Pastor Paul will begin our new series, "Why Are You Here?"
- August 17 | Senior Adult Game Day | Bring your favorite lunch and spend the afternoon enjoying games, laughter, and time together. It is the perfect way to connect with friends and make some new ones!
- August 18, 10:30 am | Senior Adults | The Do Good Restaurant Trip | The Do Good Restaurant Trip is a fun opportunity for our church family to share a meal, enjoy some fellowship, and do a little good together in our community.
