Do you ever struggle to accept the goodness of God? All of us who have come to faith in Jesus Christ started with the gift of grace—the trusting belief that, through Jesus, God did for us what we could not do for ourselves: salvation. Yet many of us who trust God to save us still struggle to trust His grace to sustain us in the life He has freely given.
What if grace is not simply how the Christian life begins, but how the whole Christian life works? In Galatians, Paul passionately defends the Good News that our relationship with God does not depend upon what we can accomplish for Him, but upon what God has already accomplished for us in Jesus Christ. Over these weeks, we’ll explore what it means not simply to be saved by grace, but to live by grace—free from the exhausting need to earn, prove, perform, or measure up.
